Youth Pottery Class: Fall 2024

Participants will explore traditional techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab-building. The comprehensive instruction includes the use of underglaze for colouring. Finished pieces are fired and coated with a clear glaze by the instructor.

5 Week Session - 1.5 hr Classes - All supplies & materials are included.

Thursdays: Nov. 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 / Dec. 5
(Ages 8-11) 3 - 4:30pm
(Ages 12-15) 5 - 6:30pm

*The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up.
*Any included pottery will be fired and ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the class.
*The studio is not liable for lost or broken pieces, recognizing explosions and cracks as inherent in the ceramic process.
*Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity.
